Aaaaargh Matey!

So since we were rained out and didn't want to drive all that way to the zoo and get poured on my mother in law found a 50%off of $30 dollars for Pirate Island! So we thought that was a good deal and jumped on it...the coupon included a large 16 in pizza and 50 tokens. The scenery of the place was just amazing. Really cool. They put a lot of work into the design. Callen was a little frightened when he had to use the restroom, it was down a mine shaft area that was dimly lit.

The kids had a little play place made of a ship it had a slide

Callen started playing an arcade game and I turned to look at Cambria and all the sudden tickets started pouring out of the machine. Callen hit the JACKPOT 1000 TICKETS!!! It was great! Good pizza, great fun and Baskin Robbins ice cream to wrap up the end of our day. :)

Wagon Ride

This evening we are out visiting and mingling with neighbors, this time of the day is when our street is the busiest I'd say. It's the best time of the day because everyone is outside playing and visiting after a long days work. We brought our wagon out so Our friends daughter could pull the babies around. (plus it has seat belts)

This is Cambria and Oakley in the wagon together. They are not even a month apart in age so it's kinda fun to watch them play together.

Callen running down the street pulling Raegan in the other wagon....Not sure if this looks so safe...I told him to slow it down. Love this picture though, they are having a BLAST!

Cambria and Raegans' turn in the wagon.

Hard to try to get both the babies attention to get a great picture. They were both waving while they were being pulled, as if they were in a parade. ha ha ha

Good times. I love our neighbors we all have so much fun when we are all out visiting. We all hibernate in the winter and so when spring and summer come around our street comes to life. It's been a long winter and so it was fun seeing the newest additions to our street (babies) and the ones who were about to add some more little additions and how their bellies have grown ha ha and how last years additions have grown so much! I am lucky to live on a street with so many good people and their kids. My kids will grow up in a great community.

Bring on the Tooth Fairy!

Callen lost a tooth today!! His very first tooth. It's been loose for about 2 weeks I'd say. I asked him a couple days ago if we could pull it and he wasn't going to budge. It was a big fat "NO"! Well today as we sit and watch cartoons I see him playing with it. I asked if I could see how loose it was and if we could pull it. His face looked like he had seen a ghost, wide eyes and a frown and said "It'll hurt"! I said "no it won't, I promise". After a few minutes of persuasion and a pinky promise not to pull it, he let me look.

I told him it was so wiggly that I bet it'd come out really easy...He cried a min and I told him to grab some tissue so that the Tooth Fairy could come tonight and he did. One yank and out it came! He looked like he was about to cry and then he smiled and that turned into a little laugh. I asked if it'd hurt and he said "no" and smiled and said "see?, I told you so". :)

Here is his toothless smile......:)
Here is his little tiny baby tooth.

Back in touch

A few weeks ago my grandparents from my dad's side got in touch with me by E-mail and FB. I know them the best when it comes to my dad's side. They came to visit me all the time when I was young and they've managed to get back in touch with me throughout the years. I love them. I feel even though I don't see them or haven't for some time I still know them. I was flown to Missouri more then ten years ago to stay with them at their lovely secluded home on the lake and I enjoyed every second (except for when the scorpion fell through the fan from the ceiling in the bathroom one night). ha ha ha They are truly wonderful people. Kind, resourceful and just so pure in their way of living. They just have a peaceful way of living life and just amaze me with their lifestyle. I remember their enormous garden or so it seemed that way to me..I remember the incense, oils, meditation and cats. I loved that visit and will forever remember it.

We received a package yesterday from her. She said she was going to send the kids some things My husband was here when it arrived and opened it. They sent Callen a camouflage coat that he loves and looks so handsome in. It fits perfectly!! Hoping it still fits come winter. Crossing our fingers. It will be useful on rainy days and cold summer nights and camping of course. I LOVE IT! First camouflage coat he's ever owned.
He's even wearing it while playing the Xbox. LOL He isn't feeling well so forgive the face...
They sent Cambria this flower headband (So cute) a princess dress and skirt. Love purple on her! She walks around so proud with her princess dress on. She knows she looks pretty in it LOL the little feathery parts tickle her face and she just giggles. Her first dress up dress and she looks adorable in it and loves it!

Thanks grandma and grandpa! We really love the gifts as well as the kids! Very thoughtful of you! I am so glad we got in touch and are talking again. Wished there weren't so many miles separating us though. Thanks again. LOVE YOU!!! XOXOXO

Shopping in our fridge

Cambria LOVES to get into everything she is not suppose to... but when she climbed in the fridge I had to get pictures.

She is actually standing in the fridge and thinks this is really neat.

Of course then loves shutting doors so she was all over this one. She stepped out of the fridge wanted to grab a couple more things and I asked her to shut the door and she did.

Silly post but I had to post it because she's so funny.

Cambria being silly

We went for a walk on this day it was a good nice day in between all the rainy ones we've been having. She was ready to go with her sippy and graham cracker fish. We've been able to pull her hair up now which I love to do because she looks ready, she can't pull it out as easily as she can the bows, and it keeps her bangs out of her face.

Later she was being so silly! Walking around talking her jibberish and mixing with some words we understand, nodding her head and walking around. Next thing ya know...................

She's managed to pull her shirt up behind her head!!! Ha Ha Ha thought this was hilarious so I had to get the video camera out. My guess this is as far as she got in the attempt of taking off her shirt.

Her again later showing us her favorite sniffy face looking as if she tried taking her other shirt off too.

Kindergarten Graduation

Callen graduated from Kindergarten last Thursday May 19th 2011. He was exited to be done, only because that meant that summer is on it's way which meant his birthday was coming up and he'd be turning 6. He keeps asking if his birthday is the next day and I have to keep telling him "not for a couple more weeks" and he gets a frustrated look on his face. I assure him it'll be here before he knows it. :) So back to graduation I got video of the program. Callen singing and being shy and even telling the kid off behind him LOL but here are some pictures that I got as well.

I am so proud of Callen!! He is so handsome and he has learned so much this year in school. He went from knowing his A B C's and just some simple basics to writing, reading, doing math and even reading problems and working through them. He has just grown so much in the last year. It's amazing what he has learned and is still learning and yet his journey has only just begun.

These are some pictures of him holding his Kindergarten Diploma.

Last but not least Callen standing with his ever so patient, wonderful, loving teacher Mrs. Evans! She has been so wonderful to us and Callen. Due to my schedule at work I'd have to take him to school sometimes fifteen min early and she was willing to accommodate us and was glad to have him. She has taught him so much and is just an all around great lady! Thanks for giving my son such a wonderful kindergarten experience.

Visiting Tooele

Went to Tooele last week on Friday to visit my best friend Beth and little miss Harbor and newly born baby Camden. It's an hour and a half drive there from my house. Thank goodness Cambria sleeps almost the whole time and Callen is very patient and plays his Nintendo DS. It's always a good visit when we go there. Our lives our crazy now with two kids each we have to drive separate cars if we want to go anywhere due to the lack of a mini van LOL I don't think we really sat down until after the park when Cambria and Camden napped and it was quiet time. ( I think this was invented for parents by the way ). We went to the park and met up with one of Harbor's dance friends and her mom...Cambria loves the swing she thinks it's fun, you can tell because she squeals the whole time and smiles and giggles. She likes going a bit high.
She started getting tired towards the end of the hour and a half that we had been there so soon she had her binki and was quiet in the swing, almost ready to fall asleep. Figured it was time to go back to Beth's for nap and quiet time.
When we were having quiet time we had to get some pics of baby Camden and his momma. Beth is such an amazing mom and just looks beautiful in these pictures! Who am I kidding... looks beautiful all the time! She is just glowing even after having her new bundle of joy.
Look at how cute he is!!! Looks just like his dad and Harbor! He is such a good baby, practically slept the whole time I was there. He is still so little. I cuddled him on the couch for awhile. Beth wanted him to wake up but he just wanted to sleep and I was okay with it because I miss cuddling my little baby when she was that small.
I am so glad we were able to go and visit! I just love her and her cute little family! I know we are always welcome even if it's only for 6 hours :) Thanks for letting us come visit! LOVE YOU!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY DEAR CAMBRIA
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!

Cambria's 1st birthday was bittersweet. She was reaching a very large milestone
in her little life. She has brought so much joy to our family! She is such a great
addition. I am lucky to have a little girl. They are so much fun! Cute clothes, hair
things, just something about their dainty voices and girly ways makes it a total
different experience. I cannot believe how fast this year has gone by. It's just so
surreal. She has learned so much and grown so much. Going through all these
new experiences and watching her grow, learn and discover the world around her
has been amazing!!

We decided to do an animal print theme for her birthday! Turned out to be really cute!

This is an idea i saw and loved so I decided to do this for her party. A picture of
her every month since the day she was born. Her hair has grown so much as
well as her hair : P

Opening presents was definately a different experience. :) She was more interested
in the wrapping paper and walking around then opening her presents. HA HA but
after all she is 1. She got ten outfits, all of them very cute, one of them from a boutique can
I say ADORABLE!!! came with bloomers that had a cupcake and candle on the bum and
a black headband with jewels on it, booties, and a dress with ribbons on it. ( I think perfect
for 1 yr pictures!!) , a push and ride toy, a little rubber cow that rolls,
V tech Jewelry box, A baby alive, doll that has a heart that glows, (a favorite) seahorse
that glows like a glow worm and plays melodies, she sleeps with it. :) two pairs of Jammies
Hair ribbons, a squishy ball, froggy camping chair, and $20. We think she got a lot of great
presents! Thank you everyone!

She wasn't sure about having a cake all to herself and getting it on her hands...She's
not one that likes her hands sticky or dirty HA HA HA I know, crazy right? But
once we were cheering and laughing she knew it'd be okay and dug right in! I think
she got a bit of a sugar rush. She's not had much sugar so she was really Exited!

Love you Cambria, hope you had the best 1st birthday party!!! Thanks to all
the family that came and friends (BETH and HARBOR) ; ) Beth and Harbor
surprised us! Didn't think she'd be coming, didn't expect her at all since she
just gave birth 5 days earlier to Camden. Bless her heart she and Harbor drove
all this way leaving Camden with grandma Phyllis just so they wouldn't miss
Cambria 1st birthday! True best friend! Love her to the moon!!! Thanks Everyone
Truly the icing on the cake!
